Middle Class Hero: John Stossel

windowslivewriter93145cc2a91a-f1eastossel2 I’ve been a fan of ABC’s 20/20 ever since it featured Hugh Downs and Barbara Wa-Wa Walters.  But I must admit, I haven’t watched it in quite a few years – that is until recently when John Stossel became an anchor for the news program.

John has a common-sense take on reporting the news.  I’m not sure of his politics (my guess is his leanings are slightly right of Libertarian), and that’s a good sign of a fair and objective reporter.  He often tackles the major issues and tries to shed some light from all perspectives, but tries to keep common sense at the forefront.

Just last week, 20/20 aired an episode that everyone should watch (John Stossel’s Politically Incorrect Guide to Politics).  In fact, it should be a staple of every Government and Civics class across this great land.  If you missed it, don’t sweat it, ’cause the good folks at ABC have posted the video.  If you consider yourself well educated, politically aware and Middle Class, take a look.  And while you’re there, take a look at other John Stossel stories.  I think you’ll agree, he’s a Middle Class Hero.
